Why does a carpet stain?
A carpet will stain because it is absorbent. In addition, Nylon carpet is put through a acid based dye bath from the carpet mill. The food we eat and drink is also acidic, so when that gets spilled on carpet it has an attraction to the carpet fiber and ends being absorbed into the carpet dye sites. I know it can be so frustrating when it happens.
A nice glass of chardonnay, refreshing cup of fruit punch, or maybe some mustard being ejected from a hot dog. We have seen it all. We have done it all.
